Léon is situated in the extreme south-west of France, close to the Spanish border.

 

Google-maps states it is 1.170 km by car from London.

 

It is not difficult to find the way by car, but just as a tip, take the N 10 from Poitiers to Bordeaux by Angoulème instead of the highway.

 

Sportmen driving from northern and central Europe and especially rowers with a boat trailer will discover that we are one day's drive closer than other major rowing training centres like Avizaqcua in Avis, Portugal or the Rowing Centres at Sevilla or Banyoles in Spain.

From England you have the choice to fly cheaply and directly with i.e. RyanAir to Pau (125 km) and to Biarritz which is just 60 km away from Léon. Major airlines fly to Bordeaux and Bilbao, German Wings flys to Toulouse.
